ANother Great Parker Razor!

Parker razors were some of the first quality safety razors I purchased when I started wet shaving. I always felt they looked and felt quite nice. And the Variant is no exception! It's on the heavy side, which I prefer. You definitely can tell you're not shaving with some disposable plastic "razor".
It's on the aggressive side, like most Parkers tend to be, but not overly aggressive. If you prefer a mild razor, settings 1 or 2 will work great for you. And when you want to mow down several days of growth, settings 4 or 5 will accommodate you.
One tip - make sure the notches on the cap and base plate are aligned. I didn't do that at first, and it makes the settings appear to be off. It doesn't affect the shave, just the "alignment" of the numbers on the dial.
When you are ready for a quality adjustable razor, this is an excellent choice!
